I was wondering how you express this in Turkish.

eg. Next to him he (looks like)/ is an angel.

Onun yanından O bir melek gibi görüniyor.

or

Onunla karşılaştırsa O bir melekdir.

 

For non native speakers the basic idea is B is bad but A is/was so much worse

Ona kıyasla melek kalır.
