yağmur kaçağı 
elimden tut yoksa düşeceğim
yoksa bir bir yıldızlar düşecek
eğer şairsem beni tanırsan
yağmurdan korktuğumu bilirsen
gözlerim aklına gelirse
elimden tut yoksa düşeceğim
yağmur beni götürecek yoksa beni

geceleri bir çarpıntı duyarsan
telâş telâş yağmurdan kaçıyorum
Sarayburnu´ndan geçiyorum
akşamsa eylül´se ıslanmışsam
beni görsen belki anlayamazsın
içlenir gizli gizli ağlarsın
eğer ben yalnızsam yanılmışsam
elimden tut yoksa düşeceğim
yağmur beni götürecek yoksa beni

if the rain will escape from my hands hold it or I will fall

one by one the stars will fall

if I was a poet

if you know me

if you knew I am afraid from rain

if you remember my eyes

hold me or I will fall

or the rain will take me from here

if you will hear the tremor of nights

I will flurry escape from rain

I will pass Sarayburnu

if will became a wet night of september

maybe you will see me but you will cant understand me

you will cry in secret

if I will be alone if I will wrong

hold from my hand or I will fall

or the rain will take me from here

my try

My try,

Fugitive of  rain

Hold my hands or I will fall..

and the stars will fall down one by one

If I am a poet and you recognise me

if you know that I am afraid of  rain…

if my eyes come into your mind ,

hold my hand or I will fall

and the rain will take me away..

If you feel a palpitation [tremor]

at nights;

that means I am running away 

from rain.

I am passing by Sarayburnu,

if  it is a night of September  

and if I am wet,

if you see me, 

you may not understand me..

you might feel sad and cry secretly..

If I am on my own and wrong..

hold my hand or I will die..

or the rain will take me away.
