I´m glad to know you

I´m glad that you exist (as in "you are there for me")

you = polite you or plural you

my thoughts as a learner

iyi ki is the correct way to write this,

iyiki is just a mistake

The word ki can be a conjunction, (sometimes like the word ´that´ in English), and ki can also be a suffix. So depending on whether it is written separately (as a conjunction) or attached (as a suffix), it can have different meanings.

if ki is connecting two things, it is written seperate. if its a "yapım eki" it is written attached. its also written seperate when you ar eusing certain wordsets. like neyse ki, şöyle ki, ne var ki, diyelim k, öyle ki, böyle ki etc. your friend mistyped it here. it shouldve been "iyi ki"

the easiest method to know this is this: take out the -ki from the sentence. is the meaning flow of the sentence seriously changed? than it should be written attached. if its not, than seperate.

for example:

kedimi seveyim ki mutlu olsun.

change it to:

kedimi seveyim mutlu olsun.

sure the meaning has narrowed a bit, but it didnt change completely. i still understand that the cat gets happy from being petted.

but this:

sabahki güzeldi (-ki that makes pronoun from noun)

bendeki kediyi sen al (-ki tat makes adjective from noun)

change them to:

sabah güzeldi

bende kediyi sen al

there is a serious deprivation or modification in the intelligibility of the sentence. so its written attached.
