karpuz - watermelon

karpuzcu = seller of water melon

according to Turkish Lewis Grammar ci suffix is added to the singular of nouns to denote persons who are proffesionally or habitually concerned with, or devoted to, the object, person

for instance

iş - work - işçi - worker

orman - forest - ormancı - forester

the other ones are not formed by derivatization

çiçek = flower - çiçeklerden  - from flowers

eller - hands - ellerinde - in your hands

su/ suyu - water/ juice - suyunuzun - of yours water

both karpuz and karpuzcu are definite nouns..the other ones are not...

something like this
