Fenerbahçe set for first-ever European semis after 1-1 draw in Rome

Fenerbahçe made history April 11, qualifying for the first time in the Europa League semifinals, after a 1-1 draw against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The two-goal advantage from last week´s first game was finally enough on aggregate for the Yellow Canaries as Lazio, deprived of its notoriously fervent fans due to a ban, failed to force the game to extra time just when it appeared that the momentum was on their side.

I hope they don´t repeat what Cimbom did back in year 2000. Remember they collected all the possible cups (UEFA, Turkish League, Turkish Cup and Eurepean Super Cup in that year).

That said I have no problem with them winning any cups but the Super league. They just get out of our way. We want to be the first with 4 stars.

tebrikler Fenerbahçe it was good match but without spectators seems just like model-singers. there is picture but no sound. this is against football´s spirit.

Totaly agree. Without spectators, it feels like a "mahalle maçı" type of  game.

We now know who Fenerbahçe will take on semi-final. It is Benfica !!

Fenerbahçe to meet Benfica in Europa League semifinals

Fenerbahçe will meet Benfica in the Europa League semifinals in its bid for a maiden continental trophy after being paired with the Portuguese giants in a draw on April 12.

The Yellow Canaries will host the Lisbon heavyweights on April 25 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium and visit Dragao Stadium on May 3.

I have complicated emotions. As a Turk I am proud of Fenerbahçe but I still want Galatasaray to be the only Uefa cup winner. I am ashamed of myself. I am too egoist

Galatasaray did good job in CL and you should be proud,they even won against biggest real Madrid.

Hope next season will be better this one will cheer for Fenerbahçe
