alma + y + a  [ "a" is added as the verb "gitmek" requires "dative marking" --> to go to ]

Nereye gidiyorsun?

[Ben] kızımı okuldan almaya gidiyorum.

"Ben" is optional here. You can drop "ben" as the person is already marked as  "um" in --> gidiyorum.
