European Union foreign ministers have said they will not renew an arms embargo on the Syrian opposition, due to expire on Saturday.

..

Russia said it would "directly harm" the prospects of an international peace conference on Syria.

Moscow, which has been trying with the US to organise the conference for next month, was disappointed with the EU move, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov was quoted as saying by the Itar-Tass news agency.

I think this news should be read with this together : http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-22667599

Hezbullah is vicious, battle hardened and they never lost a battle.

I think it means more bloodshed and more refugees and Turkey is getting plunged deeper and deeper into Syria
