                      Anne çocuğuna Tayyip adını verdi.

If we passivize it should it be

                      Çocuk Tayyip adını verildi

OR Çocuğa Tayyip adı verildi     ?

So it is quite regular and I was imagining things. You can make this kind of modifications between the constituents of the passive sentence in English but obviously you can´t in Turkish. Thank you, gokuyum.

second one , but ´´ Coğununa Tayyıp adını  koyuldu ´´ Adı vermek = adı koymak ( it´s even better)

Lida I dont want to be rude but you dont have enough knowledge to talk about Turkish grammar. Dont confuse learners. At least mention that you are a learner too.

Çocuğuna Tayyip adını koyuldu.  This sentence is wrong.

If you want it to be a passive sentence: It is "Çocuğa Tayyip adı kondu"

If you want it to be an active sentence: It is " Çocuğuna Tayyip adını koydu"

Your explanation was completely wrong. So I thought you were a learner.
