koy - what does it mean?

Merhaba, 

 

I have 2 examples:

1. Bargağı masanın üstüne koy.

2. Kitabı masaya koy.

i think, this isnt wright (in my examples)

 

Can somebody help me, please?

It´s imperative way of the verb koymak-to put.
