The origin of  conditional - SA  [se]

Conditional -sa  is believed to be originated from Archaic Turkish suffix - SAR [SER]

" Türük kagan ötüken yiş olursar ilte bun yok. "----->  Archaic  Turkish

" Türk hakanı Ötüken ormanında oturursa ülkede sıkıntı olmaz." --->  Modern Turkish

Bir  todsar  açsık  ömez  sen. ---> Archaic  Turkish.

Bir  doysan  açlığı, tokluğu düşünmezsin.---> Modern Turkish

Note that, in archaic Turkish, the personal suffix [sen]  is given seperately instead of attaching on conditional.    Whereas, in modern Turkish, we can know the person without looking the whole sentence since it is attached on the conditional.  [ doysan --> doy + sa + n  ]

Nen  sabım erser bengü  taşka  urtum. ---> Archaic Turkish

Ne  sözüm varsa  ebedi  taşa  yazdım. ---> Modern Turkish
