This suffix is rarely used today. It comes onto nouns and alter them into adjectives and gives such meanings as  ;

 

- Diminutive

  büyük  [ big ]            büyücek  [ little big , not much big ]

  küçük  [ small ]          küçücek  [ little small, not much small ]

 

=================================

- Affection

yavru [child, newborn human or animal ]

yavrucak  ---> little child..  Poor little thing !

 

yumur   ------>  yumurcak [ naughty but sweet child ]

 

=================================

- togetherness

ev  [house] ----> evcek [ with the whole family, with all people in the house]

 

aile [ family ]  ----> ailecek [ with all members in the family ]

 

Tatile  ailecek  gittik  ---> We went on holiday together with everyone in my family .
