Compound  adjectives [ adjectifs composes]

Adjectives that are formed as  compound word.

Regular compound adjectives forms are ;

1. Compound adjective  +  lı, li , lu , lü

İki kapılı  araba.  ---> Two - door  car. [ The car that has only two doors. ]

Üç  çocuklu  kadın ---> The woman with 3 kids. [ The woman who has 3 kids ]

Çok katlı otopark  ----> Multi storey parking [Multi-storey car park ]

2. Compound  adjective  + lık [ -lik, -luk, -lük ]

beş kuruşluk  iş ---->  job worth five penny [ worthless job, useless job ]

yarım saatlik  çalışma  ---> Work that lasts half an hour. [ The work that can be done in half an hour ]

iki günlük iş ----> Two days job [ Job that can be finished in 2 days ]

3.  Noun + third person possesive + adjective

göz + ü + açık ---> gözü açık  [ literally  open eye which means shrewd ]

gözü  açık  çocuk  --->  A shrewd child
