I´ve never been to...

Merhaba,

how do you translate the construction I´ve never been to...

 

I know only "I´ve never been to Turkey" = Türkiye´ye hiç gelmedim

but this literally means "I´ve never COME to Turkey"

is this the only possible way?

Or can it be simply Türkiye´de hiç değildim or Türkiye´de hiç olmadım

You can say " Türkiye´de hiç bulunmadım. "

gitmek (to go)


hiç (never)


Türkiye´ye hiç gitmedim. (I´ve never been to Turkey. (direct: I have never gone to Turkey))


En sık kullanılan ifade bu. (The most used expression is this.)
