Hello everyone! I wanted to ask something, I hope you can help me! So, I know that "birthday" is "doğum günü".

If we want to say for example "his birthday", I suppose we add the -i suffix and write "(onun) doğum gününü". Is this right?

Also, if this is correct, there is another issue. What if I want to use the noun in the accusative (the -i case)? For example, what if I want to say "He celebrated his birthday"?

Will it be "Doğum günününü kutladı"? I ask because the word does not seem so right to me :/ Please help me!

If we want to say for example "his birthday", I suppose we add the -i suffix and write "(onun) doğum gününü". Is this right? No. Only one possessive suffix in one word > doğum gün|ü ´his birthday´. Besides, the real owner wins the grammatical owner, so ´my birthday´ is doğum gün|üm.

Also, if this is correct, there is another issue. What if I want to use the noun in the accusative (the -i case)? For example, what if I want to say "He celebrated his birthday"? When case endings are added to the 3rd person possessive suffix the pronominal -n- is used in between > Doğum gününü kutladı like *Lamda* said.
