There is a saying in Turkish abla "to write the book of something" It means you know everything about that thing.

I guess after three years now you can write the book of Turkish language

Thanks for your kind words, gokuyum. Actually it has occurred my mind to write about Turkish language. Not a textbook of course, my skills will never be on that level. Maybe some polemic articles or even fiction. For the time being, though, Turkish syntax is my most important inspiration of style.

http://www.turkishclass.com/forumTitle_58840

And Hascel, why haven´t you asked that question in another thread? So unrelated!

And why doesn´t the moderation do something about this kind of stuff? Aa wait Hascel´s message was very recently posted. They did not have the time to moderate. Fair enough. I´ll go whine about something else.

Merhaba, Karo. Hoş geldin! ^^

Of course we´d love to help you! Let me start off by pointing out some mistakes in your original post:

(Almanya´dan Merhaba!)

Merhaba ve iyi aksamlar. Benim adim Karo. Ben Almanim - Frankfurt´ta oturuyorum. Ben Türkiye´yi çok seviyorum! Sekiz yildir ben tatillerde Türkiye´ye gidiyorum. Iyi Aksamlar, Karo

Don´t be discouraged from all these mistakes. I´m learning German myself and if I was to write this exact passage myself in German, I´d make as many -if not more mistakes! {#emotions_dlg.satisfied_nod}

Never hesitate to ask even the smallest things in forum or ask us through PM anything! I´m sure all of us here would love to help out as much as we can! I´m a native speaker myself and it´s no trouble at all helping you in Turkish.

Happy learning!
