 Adverbs of restriction

This type of adverbs restrict the verbs in respect to time and amount.

 

Some common ones are ;

En erken

Ancak

En çok

En az

En geç

Artık

Yalnız

 

Bu para [bize] en çok üç ay gider.

This money lasts [us] at most 3 months.

_____________________________________

Dün ancak iki saat çalışabildim.

I was able to study only 2 hours yesterday.

______________________________________

Bu kötü alışkanlıklardan artık uzak durmalısın.

From now on, you should stay away from these bad habits.

Almanya´da yalnız üç ay kalabilirsin.

You can stay in Germany only for 3 months.

_______________________________________

Her gün en az üç saat Türkçe konuşmalısınız.

You should speak Turkish at least 3 hours every day.
