Conjunction -de  sometimes functions as "even if ".

İyileşse de bir daha yürüyemez. ---> Even if he/she recovers , he/she will not be able to walk again.

Gelseler de bir şey değişmez. ---> Even if they come, nothing will change.

Sorsan da söylemem ---> Even if you ask [me], I won´t tell [you].

Evden şimdi çıksam da trene yetişemem. ---> Even if I leave home now , I can´t catch the train.
