Consonant \"j\"

Turkish words does NOT  take consonat “ j ”. It is loanwords used in Turkish language that take this consonant. Such as ;

 

jilet

Jale

Jandarma

Japon

Jüri

Jüpiter

Jeolog

Jelatin

Jest

......

That’s why in daily speech, sometimes Turks exchange it with consonant “c” ,

 

Cilet , Candarma, …….
