Hi all,
I am very intrested in how other people met their Turkish man/woman and how you met and how you overcome the distance and cultural barrier. I have not met too many members who have a Turkish girlfriend I am very keen to chat to anyone who has a Turkish girlfriend to share comments and questions. Have a good day all

Why?
As I said before, it depends on people.
Distance and cultural differences can be serious problems but if your love is strong, you guys can overcome these obstacles.

I met the love of my life in America. Then as quickly as we met he was returning to Turkey. We stayed in touch and my first visit to this beautiful country was in December of 2005. My life was changing so fast all at once. I had just returned from a cruise I had booked earlier in the year, I was going to start a new job in January (Oh, did I mention the cruise was with the employer I was leaving)and all I could think about was the man that really changed my life. It was a wonderful, magical visit and I will never forget it. We continued to correspond and I visited again in April of 2006. I just picked up my airline tickets for another visit early December.
I would love to hear from others about their relationships and the hurdles (family, relgion, language) they may had to overcome and how they handled it. Tesekkurler

I met my husband through internet,we took about a year half to know each other while he had his military service that time.At the begining, i cant believe a relationship from internet can works things out, especially our relationship.I am chinese and he is turkish,we are totally from different culture, language, life style and etc.My 1st visit to an amazing country is on October 2005.I met all my husband family, i realize that turkish peoples are so friendly and since that time i fall in love with Turkiye Now we are married almost 1 year plus and we stay in different country now,in between, thats alot problems come to us,but believe me,if the relationship is strong,no matter what kind of problem, sure can overcome it.Married with my husband,i can say that is most wonderful gift from God,and i really proud to be in a part of turkish family From now on,our plans is to stable our life such as finacial..and have a asian+turkish baby then we can back to Turkiye (Turkiye yasamak istiyorum)
