Quoting Turkish2412

Translate the following sentences into Turkish ;

1. Both the wind and the sun provide energy.

Hem rüzgar hem de güneş enerji sağlamaktadır. ---> GOOD

2. The more bread you eat, the fatter you get.

Ne kadar ekmek yersen o kadar şişmanlarsın. oluyorsun. ---> GOOD  [ just more natural to use the actual verb "şişmanlamak" with aorist.

3. The candidate I voted for won the election.

Oy verdiğim aday a seçimi kazandı. ----> GOOD [without dative ending on "aday"]

4. He advised me to see an optician.

Gözlükçüye gitmemi tavsiye etti.  ---> GOOD

" Göz doktoru " is better.
