Merhaba.

How can you translate "kendiliğinden oluşmak" in the below sentence?

Toplumu derinden etkileyen olaylar sonunda halk arasında kendiliğinden oluşan uzun nazım türüdür.

(it) is a kind of long poetry which consists of their selfhood among the people, at the end of events which have an impact on community?

Something must be wrong.. it doesn´t sound very logically that something "consists of sb´s selfhood among the people". What is the actual point of this phrase?

Thanks in advance.

(it) is a kind of long poetry which is formed by itself  among the people, at the end of events which affected the community  [society] deeply ?

 - This kind of  poetry, is formed in the end of  events [tragic ,big sensational events], that those events have big impact, [effect] on people [people´s minds, people´s memories]. And that kind of poetry  is formed [composed] anonymously, people just creates it. In other words, it comes out itself because of  the effect of  a particular event.

Imagine a tragic event, such as an earthquake, after that , people in that area  are so effected and traumatised by that event, the poems or songs are said naturally to describe that event and as a result of that event.

In other words, composing , forming the poetry related that event, is not a planned or arranged act. It just comes itself  [automatically, inevitably].

Ah, ok. Thanks for the detailed explanation!

I should have supposed "kendiliğinden" was a fixed expression!

it was so silly of me to try to analyze the components of this word literally.
