İf you mean "When i went to İzmir, Selma will be waiting for me" you can say "İzmir´ e gittiğimde Selma beni bekliyor olacak" in Turkish.

The pattern of "-dikçe" can´t be conjugated with personal suffixes. If the subject of the sentence isn´t only one person, it should be pointed the person out before using "-dikçe".

Ben İzmir´e gittikçe (as long as I go to İzmir)

Selma İzmir´e gittikçe (as long as Selma goes to İzmir)

Write your sentence in English again, then I help about it.

There is a slight difference between "niçin" and "niye/neden". What´s more, most of Turks ignore it. I want to state it so as to teach the correct information nevertheless.

ne+için------------------->ne için? (for what?)

neiçin-------------------->niçin? (why, for what, for which purpose?)

"niçin" is tend to the purpose.

"niye" and "neden" are tend to the reason.

Examples:

-Niçin geldin? (Why did you come?)

+Seni görmek için geldim. (I came to see you./I came so as to see you.)

-Niye geldin? / Neden geldin? (Why did you come?)

-Gelmemi istediğin için geldim. (I came because you wanted me to come.)

The most usages are these indeed. But they can be used as if they are exactly the same as each other, like I stated.

Açıklaman için çok teşekkürler.

I should have thought more carefully about where I placed niçinSmile

Sağol hocam.
