From the Reuters news service:
Norwegian men pitch in the most with housework and related chores while Japanese men do the least, according to a survey released by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ahead of International Women’s Day on Saturday. In a comparison of statistics from most of the 34 OECD member countries concerning how much time men and women spend on “unpaid work,” the organization concluded that “women are slowly closing the gap with men as more have careers.” The survey said that Turkish women spend the most time of any country in the survey doing unpaid chores such as housework or shopping, clocking in at 377 minutes a day, while their male partners spend 116 minutes a day on such tasks. Japanese men spend 62 minutes a day on such chores while their spouses devote almost 300 minutes a day.

You dont expect Turkish men paying their wives for the chores. do you? Any husbands in any country paying their wives for this?

Ah, my friend, you prove that the survey must have at least some truth in it. Thank you for participating in the experiment.

Wow! That is amazing, that report is clearly biased.. I AM SURE that making of that omelette in 1993 and the barbecue in 2007 added up to way more minutes then 116min/day of house work!! I am sure that after 3 trials of getting the eggs done, burning down the kitchen, smoke poisoning the cat, then rebuilding the house and attempting at the omelette again, it all added up to way more than 116 minutes/day!
