Hey everyone,
I´m wondering if there´s anyone out there who would be able to help me. I´m looking for somewhere, whether it being on this page or maybe another website where I can learn how to introduce myself.
I know how to tell someone my name and age but I´m wanting to learn also what I do for a living, where I live, where I come from etc.
Has anyone got any suggestions.
Thank you for your help.

Give a man a fish vs. teach him how to catch a fish.
If you only need a fish, ask me. Tell me what you want to say and I´ll translate.
But I won´t teach you how to catch a fish.

I´m a native but KediNero is learning Turkish. If you want to learn how to catch a fish, KediNero is your guy. He´s been catching fish for a long time Whereas I never had to learn Turkish.

I regret now missing the chance for my Dad to teach me when I was younger. Now my Dad has passed away I´m really struggling to communicate with my family over in Turkey. Mainly just use google translate even though I know I shouldn´t because 9 times out of 10 when I use that website I normally get a message back off from my cousin or someone asking what I´m trying to say lol . I will get there in the end though, I´m determined to be able to have a decent conversation with all my family over there.
Watching Turkish movies would be very good. When Dad was alive we had Turkish T.V. (I never watched it obviously lol) but now I think maybe I should get it installed again to help with learning.
I think I´m along way off from asking for help with any translations, however before I ask I will be attempting the translation myself ... how else will anyone learn if they rely on others to do the translation for them right?
Well thanks for your messages guys, I´m going to go off and take a look at some of the grammer lessons on this site.
Have a good day

Cool. You want to learn how to catch a fish.
My little contribution would be:
http://ww2.yabancidiziizle1.net/
Series in English, with Turkish subtitles. If you´re watching any of these, then watch it with Turkish subtitles. Better than nothing
And check Anki out. It´s G R E A T.
www.ankisrs.net
There are tutorials on Youtube.

Thanks for that link to the soaps etc. I´ve just strolled down the page and clicked on one soap and was great to have the Turkish subtitles. I will take a look in greater detail later on.
Thank you
