Made up new words using  "-kolik  " [so caled] suffix

 In English, this suffix [-aholic] gives the meaning to the words ---> unable to stop doing, eating, or drinking something

So, we made up some new words using this suffix in the form of  "kolik" , some might sound silly, some not. The reality is ,we are not suprised to hear such made up words anymore.

We make up this kind of words which end with a consonant.

Alkolik ---> Alcoholic  ---> This one was created long time ago.

İş + kolik ---->  İşkolik  ---> Workaholic

Çay + kolik ---> Çaykolik ---> Teaholic [ The person who is addicted to Tea, the person who can´t stop drinking tea. Tea addict]

Film + kolik ---> Filmkolik ---> A person who is addicted to watching films all the time.

Caz + kolik  ---> Cazkolik ---> A person who is crazy about jazz music. Always listens to jazz music.

Etc......

* Turkish has proper words expressing the addiction or obsession to something bağımlı, tiryaki

Alkol bağımlısı  ---> Alcoholic

İş bağımlısı ---> Workaholic

[iş  delisi ]

Çay tiryakisi ---> Çay addict

Caz delisi ---> Jazz lover, Jazz maniac, Jazz addict

Etc...
