I know....but all I wanted to say is - it could be "bahar vardi"...but only methaphorically

baharlar vardi?

Bahar looks uncountable to me. Actually okay, it is countable, like in the song "söyle kaç bahar oldu?" What I mean is that bahar is not pluralificable

Baharlar would only mean a girl named Bahar and some people somehow related to her:

"Baharlarla buluşalım."

in the "arrive" sense;

Bahar vardı. - weird

Bahar geldi. - better

in the "exist" sense;

Bahar vardı.  - weird

Bahar havası vardı.   - better    (describes the weather)

To me, "bahar vardı." sounds like "bahar diye bir mevsim vardı." = "once there was a season named bahar"

Why? Colloquial.

But if you´re writing a poem or inventing new uses in general, all is fair

I guess when a foreigner says it, it is weird. When someone wearing glasses and a scarf around his neck says it, it is art.

Of course, if we´re talking about a girl named Bahar, that´s a different story.

How about bahar gelmiş

Maybe ´has´ or ´have´ is not used this way in Turkish. For example if I want to say "I have eaten" in Turkish rather than "I ate".
