It has been long time since we met. I´m worry that something has happened to you. Take care of yourself! I´m doing every single thing I can to get beside you. I know that God will help me if I do my best, but it takes its time. Do the things that make you happy. I´d cry if you left me but the most important thing is that you´ll be happy. One day, as soon as I have got my passport, I´ll go to Turkey to find you.

There are so many "e to t pls" messages like this!

Is it just one person with multiple accounts who lives his/her relationship with a Turk through this forum, or are there crazy people from all over the world?

Neyse kardeş. İsteyenin bir yüzü kara.

Yes, I have a relationship with a Turkish and there is a big gap between us. For keeping our relationship survive, I need enormous help of this forum. I think all person who are being in love are somehow crazy. If you´ve not been crazy yet, you´ve surely not known how the love really is.

I´ve done my share of embarassing nonsense, due to something many people (including me) would call love. I think I´ve experienced a thing or two, and that´s why I liked the movie "Griff the Invisible" so much. But that´s of no concern. Try to focus on what I´m saying, not my past love encounters, or whether I know true love or not.

Of all the stuff I could say about how twisted it is to ask for translations to such intimate messages, I guess only this one matters:

Here on this forum, people help without expecting much in return. These people´s time is a limited resource. And you (and all the others like you - if they are not your other accounts) are asking to use this limited resource to receive a fish - not to learn how to catch fish.

Even that would be okay, but love messages? Come on! That´s the lowest "fish" I can think of.

But an even bigger even, even what you do is doable. I expressed this in my previous message by "isteyenin bir yuzu kara". I´d say it in English too, if I could express it just as accurately. After all you´re doing is just asking and it is up to people to respond or not. It´s not like you´re flooding or sending private messages with ALL CAPITAL TITLES. But that doesn´t change the fact that I think translating love letters is beyond waste of time.

Yes I think you´re crazy, what I mean by that is what you do seems really weird to me and I think you possess a mild mental disorder. A fancy word for obsession would be its name, perhaps. Why do i think so? Because i don´t understand how people could need translations so much, due another need I don´t understand to keep a relationship of this sort alive. If you need a translation so much, how did you people meet in the first place? How did you fall in love so deeply if you guys can´t speak the same language fairly well? Why don´t you think of these messages as a part of your private life? Why do you so openly post them on the internet? Internet anonymity maybe... But still... If you love him/her so much, why haven´t you already learned Turkish? If you didn´t have enough time to learn Turkish, again how could you fall in love so deeply so needily? At what age do people behave like that? The gap you´re talking about... Might your spouse have put it there? If not, if both of you want to get rid of the gap, how could a translation be so crucial?

You can´t see yourself as I do but try to check some other "e2t please for my relationship" posts. Maybe you´ll see what I mean.

Learning a language when you´re not in this country is not easy at all. I´m really appreciated people who have very generously helped me even though I don´t know who they are or where they live. You´re going to see many more E2T-posts like that. You don´t have to help me if you don´t want to.

Anyway, thank you so much for sharing me the perspective which I think is absolutely worth-thinking.

Well this with the love- story was nice. I have something to share for translation please: "Hey you, stop contacting my wife. She will be never your again. You know you lost her at the moment she kicked you out of the house or may be when you choose other girls and easily you left her alone. You can regret what you missed for the rest of your cursed life."
