Could someone please help me translate the following...

´If you speak to a man in a language he understands, it will go to his head.

If you speak to a man in his own language, it will go to his heart.´

Any help is greatly appreciated

My try as learner. As usual with my attempts, please wait for corrections from other forum members

İnsana, anladığı dil konuşsan, söylediğin onun başına ulaşacak.

Ona ana dil konuşsan, onun kalbine ulaşacak.

Birisine bir şeyi anladığı bir dilde söylerseniz beynine, kendi dilinde söylerseniz kalbine işler. Beynine işlemek means he understands kalbine işlemek means it goes his heart

Thank you all for your help...

My friend gave me this translation... Eger bir erkege anlayabilecegi bir dilde konusursan aklina, onun kendi dilinde konusursan kalbine girersin

Both are very different... Could someone let me know what my the translation my friend gave me actually says?

Your friend´s translation is very good. It says "if you speak to a man in a language he can understand you will enter his mind, if you speak to him in his own language you will enter his heart."
