I'm very new to Turkish and very grateful for this site. I've had many offers for help and friendly conversation from lots of great people here and on other sites. It's been a wonderful experience and I'm sure I've made some real friends.
A couple times though, I've spoken to people who seem to have the wrong impression. (no one here)
What I'd like to be able to say, in a nice way, is:
I don't have a boyfriend
I don't want a boyfriend
friends only
I'm sorry
I prefer my independence

lol, could someone please help me out?

well you can say like that;
su anda bir partnerim yok!
*simdilik boyle birsey dusunmuyorum(i dont think such things rite now)(you can use this for politeness)
sadece arkadaslık lutfen(i added please)
üzgünüm.
kendi bagımsızlıgımı tercih ediyorum.
