Hi, I write an exmaple. Please explain the difference, why, which is correct what they mean.

1.) Teyzemin kardeşimin odasında uyumasını istemiyorum.

2.) Teyzemin kardeşimin odasında uyuduğunu istemiyorum.

[I don´t want my aunt to sleep in my friend´s room]

Your sentences are not correct.

You can say:

Teyzem arkadaşımın odasında uyusun istemiyorum.

Teyzemin arkadaşımın odasında uyumasını istemiyorum.

it´s not possible to translate them literaly, but that´s how it works in Turkish

Your Turkish is impressive kedinero.

Different verbs want different suffixes.

Ex:

Arabayı çalıştırmanı istiyorum. I want you to start the car.

Arabayı çalıştırdığını biliyorum. I know that you started the car.

This pattern is expressed by "-me" by adding a possessive suffixes.

This suffix "-me" makes a verb a noun.

yüzmek (to swim) : yüz-

yüz + me (gerund) -----------------> yüzme (swimming)

oturmak (1to sit, 2to sit down, 3to live, to dwell) : otur-

otur + ma (gerund) -----------------> oturma (sitting)

gelişmek (to develop (intransitive)) : geliş-

geliş + me (gerund) ----------------> gelişme (developing)

uyumak (to sleep) : uyu-

uyu + ma (gerund) -----------------> uyuma (sleeping) [it became a noun. From now on, we can use this like a real noun.)

I shall write two examples with the pure translations:

Onun hediyesini istemiyorum. (I don´t want his gift. )

hediye + i(possessive) -------------------> hediyesi (his gift)

hediye + i(possessive) + i (accusative)----> hediyesini (his gift (definite acc.))

Arkadaşımın uyumasını istemiyorum. (I don´t want my friend´s sleeping.)

Teyzemin kardeşimin odasında uyumasını istemiyorum. (I don´t want my aunt´s in-my-brother´s-room sleeping.)

uyuma+ı(possessive) ----------------- > uyuması (his sleeping)

uyuma+ı(possessive)+ı(accusative)---- > uyumasını (his sleeping ((definite acc.))

Teyzemin kardeşimin odasında uyumasını istemiyorum. (I don´t want my aunt to sleep in my brother´s room.)

Okay I understand that "-ma,-me" makes the verb noun. But I don´t understand in which situations "uyumasını" and when "uyuduğunu" should be used. Is it possible to express the same thing with both of them?

No. The suffix -dik is not used for this clause. The clause "to want somebody to do something" is expressed by the verbal noun suffix with the possessive suffixes in the accusative case.

Duymamı istemedikleri için birbirleriyle fısıldayarak konuştular. (They talked to each other in a whisper because they don´t want me to hear them.)

fısıldamak : to whisper | fısıldayarak : by whispering , in a whisper

konuşmak : 1to talk, 2to speak

duymak (to hear) : the stem of the verb -----> duy-

duy + ma (gerund) --------------------------> duyma (hearing)

duy + ma (gerund) + m(possessive)-----------> duymam (my hearing)

duy + ma (gerund) + m(poss.)+ ı (accusative)-> duymamı (my hearing)

Yavaş konuşmanı istiyorum. (I want you to speak slowly.)

konuş + ma (gerund) --------------------------> konuşma (speaking)

konuş + ma (gerund) + m(possessive)-----------> konuşmam (my speaking)

konuş + ma (gerund) + m(poss.)+ ı (accusative)-> konuşmamı (my speaking)

Gitmesini istemiyorum. (I don´t want him/her to go.)

git + me (gerund)

git + me + S + i(possessive)

git + me + S + i + N + i(accusative)
