İs it ilmek ?

the root verb here is "ilgilen"..
there is no "gene" in this sentence..

Ohh İ see Tşk Patience

İ was looking for a ilgenmek ,,and i couldn't find,its a typo mistake then

So i thought the verb is ilmek and gene is a suffix that i don't about it, so i was wondering

"Ilgi" is the root word, "lenmek" is the verb.
Ilgilenmek = to give your attention to something/someone.
Ilgilen-ememek = to not pay attention to something/someone.
