Hello.

This is from an online chat:

Odun umarim kendin gibi odun biriyle mutlu olursun hoscakal

 

What is the meaning of "odun" repeated two times in this statement?

I suppose it has nothing to do with wood

First I thought it was meant to be "o dün", but that makes little sense. So, perhaps "odun", like "o" (that, he) + di (past tense) + un (you) = you were the one, it was you? Am I right?

odun have 2 meanings.

 

odun=anlayışsız ve kaba kimse

 

umarım kendin gibi odun biriyle mutlu olursun.

i hope you will be happy with someone who is bad just like you are.
