-iyor + -abilir  constuction means something else here. It is combined with conjunction "ama" . It may basically be used in the meaning of ---->

" Although ........................, but ....."

Şimdi gidiyor olabilirim ama benden kolay kurtulamazsin.

Although I am going now that doesn´t mean you can get rid of me so easily.

[Although I am going now, that doesn´t mean  you can get away from me so easily]

Ikinize teşekkür ederim.

Peki -iyor olabilir genelde ya da normalde ne anlam verir?

Yinede teşekkür ederim

-iyor şimdiki zaman anlamı verir. (present continious tense)

On a further note: if you´re sure you heard "gidiy", that exists too as an anatolian dialect. In certain regions they pronounce "gidiyor" as "gidiy".

Hope it was helpful,

Nice to know that

Teşekkür ederim ama ´gidiyor olabilirim´ alone what could it mean, I mean without having ama. Like in the sentence above:

Şimdi gidiyor olabilirim.

Or does it only come in that form I mean -iyor olabilmek, .... ama

like: Şimdi gidiyor olabilirim ama benden kolay kurtulamazsin.

That sentence translates perfectly to:

"I may be going now, but you can´t get rid of me easily."

"Yapıyor olabilmek" means "may be doing" and it adds opposition to what you say. The opposition is the fact that he/she is going, but that doesn´t necessarily mean that they could be get rid of easily. I hope I´m clear enough now. ^^ Here´s another example:

Hizmetçi olabilirim ama bu aptal olduğumu göstermez! (I may be a servant, but that doesn´t mean that I´m stupid!)

To add uncertainty or doubt to your sentence, "belki" is a better option and it´s much more often used than "yapıyor olabilmek". However, belki does not include opposition.

Hope it was helpful,

-Jansay
