Quoting Jansay

Today I´ve been following a girl ever since this morning (just) because she looked at me. She entered a police station. I hope it doesn´t bode ill.

I will chase after my love even if I get a life sentence in prison.

"Diye" here means "because." "Hayırdır inşallah" is a popular expression, I´ve done my best translating it. "Hayır" here means "good" or "well" in a spiritual sense.

Hope it was helpful,

-Jansay

Only remember that Turkish sentences are often to be read ´back to front´ so the ´diye´ refers to the bit before the word, not after. Or read ´because of that...´

Am I correct Jansay?

The bit before "Diye" is the cause and the rest is the consequence. And you´re right about Turkish; compared to English it´s reversed.
