Hello!

I was wondering if anyone knows the Uyghur language, at least well enough, that they might be able to transcribe/transliterate this song?

Qashingni Qara Deydilar (on YouTube-sorry I cannot yet post the link!)

It´s a classic folk song! I understand, it´s popular in many Central Asian countries, it is sung in several Turkic languages, including Uzbek, Turkmen, Uyghur ... a modified version is even adopted by the Chinese! But I like the Uyghur version best, it´s very beautiful!

The lyrics are displayed in Ereb Yeziqi (Arab script) at the bottom of the video as they sing, but it´s blurry and rather hard to read. Also I am not yet very familiar with the language. Would really love it if someone could transcribe/transliterate. Thank you!

I know it´s a bit off topic for this forum (sorry!) but, because, Uyghur is a Turkic language, very similar to other languages in that language family...

The full title of the video is:

Uyghur Song&Dance-Qashingni qara deydilar

And the video is posted by user Arkinuygur

I´m sure there are others, but this one specifically has the full song (some others have only parts of the song or clips) with lyrics ...

Yes but it´s a bit difficult to understand for us. If you could provide us with the lyrics that would be easier.

For example the title sounds familiar:

Qashingni qara deydilar -> Kaşını kara dediler (They said your eyebrow is black)

But that´s it from me.
