Bu hayat zor, biliyorum. Ama yaşamam lazım. Sabırlı olmam lazım. Bu hikaye nasıl biteceğini görmem lazım.

I think it´s pretty right but i´m never sure about my grammar.

You can use gerek as well but it needs to go with another verb. Olmak in this case:

Ben sabırlı olmam gerekir.

When the object is noun/noun compound, "olmak" (=>be) is not used before lazım/gerek:

I think the following examples will help you..

 

sabırlı (adj.) benim sabırlı olmam gerek/lazım - patient (adj.) I need to be patient 

   

sabır (noun) bana sabır gerek/lazım - patience (noun) I need to have patience
