I am intrigued, why is PKK pronounced pe ka ka, and AKP is pronounced ah ke pe?

usually we read that letter as ka in abbreviations and they are stereotypes. Like PKK or TDK or SSK. But in alphabet ke is the right pronunciation. If you read AKP as A KA PE or you read PKK as PE KE KE maybe that wouldn´t be wrong but people will find strange. I hope I explained it right because I´m turkish and my english is not well as you see
