Selamlar hepinize

I am trying to find a way to correctly convey "soo-to-be" as in an anticipate state of being.

I have found suspects such as "yakında olacak...." and "eli kulağında".

But I am struggling with making this a relative clause, my example is

"The life of a spouse of a soon-to-be politician is just as stressful!"

Çok teşekkürler!

Yes, you can use yakında olacak. I´m not sure how common eli kulağında is.

Example:

Dinner will be ready soon. Akşam yemeği yakında hazır olacak.

I´m not sure of your sentence in Turkish. But this would be part of it:

He/She will be a politician soon - Yakında bir politikacı olacak.

Thanks Denizli, that helped clear it up. Just curious, is there certain occasions or contexts when eli kulağında would be more appropriate?

Çok teşekkür ederim tekrar
