Merhabalar! I have a new favorite Sıla song, but when I search the forums here, I see that Denizli tried tell me about this song long ago. Well, I have finally discovered it on my own, Denizli, and I love it! I especially like the drums in this song; they make me think of my visit to Harbiye to listen to the Ottoman military band. Here is my attempt to translate "Vaziyetler." Your help is always appreciated. Teşekkürler!

Bu vaziyetler hayra alamet değil de -- These conditions bode no good,
Durdum düşündüm -- So I stopped and thought.
Yine niye beni buldu eziyetler -- Why have torments found me again?
Aklımı nerede düşürdüm -- Where did I let my guard fall?

Darıldım sonra barıştım -- I got angry, then I became reconciled.
Hayat kısa yol uzun be narin -- Life is short, the road is long. Oh you delicate one.
Bilenlere de danıştım -- I also consulted those who know.
Hiçbiri ne âlim ne zâlim -- None of them is either all-knowing or cruel.

Aman yine mi olmamış -- Oh, has it not happened again?
Devam tamam olmamış -- Keep on. It has not finished.
Çilem daha dolmamış -- My period of suffering has still not finished.

Başa bela bağlanıyorsan -- If you are tied to a big problem,
Ah be sakat bir de dağlanıyorsan -- Oh, moreover, if you are branded as unsound,
Mutluysan amenna  -- If you are happy, believe in it.
Şarkılardan hal tutmuyorsan -- If you do not understand the situation through song.

Aman yine mi olmamış -- Oh, has it not happened again?
Devam tamam olmamış -- Keep on. It has not finished.
Çilem daha dolmamış -- My period of suffering has still not finished.

The video for Vaziyetler is entertaining. I´ve seen a few Turkish videos where the Woman singer starts throwing things or smashing things. I like it.
