Can you make sense of this sentence?/ Bu cümle anlabilir misiniz?

Merhaba,

 

I thought of this sentence and I wanted to see whether or not it is actually correct and/or understandable.

 

"Inandığınızdan bambaşka fikirlere ınanan birisi ile arkadaş olma pek zordur."

I want to say "It is pretty hard to be friends with someone who believes in totally different ideas than you."

 

If my Turkish is wrong, how could I correct it?

"To believe an idea" sounds different to me. "To have an idea" sounds better (IMHO).

I would say:

Sizden tamamen farklı fikirlere sahip birisi ile arkadaş olmak pek zordur.

 

If you insist otherwise

Sizden tamamen farklı fikirlere inanan birisi ile arkadaş olmak pek zordur.

İnandığınızdan fikirlerden bambaşka fikirlere inanan birisi ile arkadaş olmanız pek zordur.   or çok zordur.

Inandığınızdan fikirlerden ? Should be inandığınız fikirlerden
