Its better if you build the sentence in active form as follows ,

Tuhaf , yeni bir teknoloji yaratıyorlar. -- They are creating a stange new tecnology.

Tunci hoca thank you very much .... actually I was trying my hand at framing a ´Reflexive´ sentence because I find ´reflexive´ form a bit difficult to handle.  I get mixed up ...

I was curious as to how would I say e.g. >>  ... new technology is being created by [them] <<
