I understood:

Toronto´da mı çalışıyorsun? Are you working IN TORONTO?
Toronto´da çalışıyor musun? Are you WORKING in Toronto?

I asked a Turkish person:

Bu radyo istasyonunu mu biliyorsun? (Do you know THIS STATION)

Who answered better is:

Bu radyo istasyonunu biliyor musun?

So I don´t quite understand.

I understood:

Toronto´da mı çalışıyorsun? Are you working IN TORONTO?
Toronto´da çalışıyor musun? Are you WORKING in Toronto?

(=in Toronto, what are you doing, you working or what?)

I asked a Turkish person:

Bu radyo istasyonunu mu biliyorsun? (Do you know THIS STATION)

(if it was used with "sadece", for instance, it would say: do you know only this station? // sadece bu radyo istasyonunu mu biliyorsun)

Who answered better is:

Bu radyo istasyonunu biliyor musun?

So I don´t quite understand.

Asker is not certain about "Toronto´da" (in Toronto) bit so:

I know you´re working somewhere, is it Toronto (that you are working in)?

Toronto´da çalışıyor musun?

Similarly asker is not certain about activity bit.

I know you are in Toronto. What are you doing there? Are you working?

Bu radyo istasyonunu mu biliyorsun?

Correction is OK but if we analyze this one:

Asker is certain about that you know of some radio station(s). This one means:

Is it this radio station that you know of?

We add the person additionals after "mı, mi, mu, mü" in Turkish.

Ben yapıyor muyum?

Sen yapıyor musun?

O yapıyor mu?(No adding)

Biz yapıyor muyuz?

Siz yapıyor musunuz?

Onlar yapıyorlar mı?*(Exception)

Bu radyo istasyonunu mu biliyorsun?

If you say like this, you probably say that "Is the thing you know (that) this radio station?"

But if we say;

Bu radyo istasyonunu biliyor musun?

It means

Do you know this radio station?

I hope you will get it.

Hopefully. I´m thinking if the question is at the end, it could be meant in a general way or without any emphasis.

For example, in this case

Toronto´da çalışıyor musun? =in Toronto, what are you doing, you working or what?

We aren´t really applying that here.

i.e. Bu radyo istasyonunu biliyor musun? = This station, what aboout it, do you know it or what (listen to it, like it)?
