What does fortnightly mean? That must be a Britsh term or something.

Fortnightly means once in 2 weeks. A fortnight is 14 days, and I´m guessing it´s origin probably comes from a shortening of fourteen nights. I didn´t realise this word wasn´t known everywhere. We certainly use it in Australia, but we also have British links to our past.
