My 4 year old son has Down's Syndrome and we are holidaying in Turkey next month. Could anyone please tell me how I can convey his condition in Turkish? Thanks.

i dont think you need to explain anything to the turks ,they will treat your son with as much love and attention that they show all children.

also if your son is anything like the downs children i work with he will certainly shine through and they will adore him

As Down's Syndrome is named after a person I suspect that in Turkish it is simply Sendrom Down'u.

Down's Syndrome is Down Sendromu in turkish.

And to mean someone has it, "down sendromlu" (-lu is "with" here)

Forexample: Çocuğum down sendromlu.(my kid has down syndrome, literally with down syndrome)

Down sendromlu çocuklar (kids with down syndrom)
