I wonder if anyone can help me. I am trying to research the TV Reception market in Turkey with a view to supplying TV reception products. In particular I am looking into what we call the leisure market. People with touring caravans who would park up at a campsite and still want to watch TV (that always suprises me ). So I am looking at Terrestrial TV, Digital TV and Satellite TV reception.
If anyone thinks they can help please send me a PM then I will give further details.
thanks

So no replies yet! Can I ask this in a different way then. Does anyone know if there are any caravan or touring vehicle manufacturers in Turkey?
We manufacture Satellite reception antenna for the mobile market and sell into Europe and are looking to break into new market areas.
I just dont know where to look for the information.

From what we've seen in the 2 years that we've lived here, the Turks are just not into touring caravans. In fact I think I can honestly say that the only ones we've seen on the roads around here have been foreign registered.

When I read the question asked in this thread, I thought the same. But as I don't live in Türkiye, I couldn't be sure. But I think that the Turkish roads don't really seem to be made for long caravan trips. Also, I haven't really ever seen camping-sites in the brochures for holidays in Turkey. At least not in the Dutch agencies!

Thanks, I was somehow expecting this sort of reply!! I know boats are big around the coast and I have seen a boat moored up with a satellite dish on a tripod on the shore. There is a camping a caravanning site in Turkey but when I looked I did think it was aimed at travellers other than Turkish.
We do plenty of business in Holland and Germany! They are mad keen on their touring vans!
Never mind, perhaps not such a business idea after all - well nothing ventured!
