The part of Turkish that I am having most trouble with is understanding spoken Turkish.......can someone please have a quick listen to this and see if the language is simple enough that I "should" be able to understand it? There are another 8 parts to it and I have downloaded them all but I want to be sure the language is suitable before I listen to it too much!

Beware - it is a BIG file!

I downloaded it and it is way too difficult for me. I can only understand some words and seperate the words within a sentence, but I can't understand it because my vocabulary is way too low for this. And the voices sometimes sound a bit weird because it's like a listen-show.

Also, when communicating with people.. they will speak slow and simplify their sentences, so then it's easier to understand them, compared to this.

I think if I would expand my vocabulary, it would be easier to recognize words and then understand it.

For example, like it would have a vocavulary-list together with the file: then you can first study the words and then see if you will also recognize and understand them in their spoken version.

I don't really know your Turkish level, but from what I've seen it's higher than mine, still I think this is a bit too difficult.

Btw, the story-teller (i think it's the story teller right?), speaks clearly, so I can understand him better than the others.

I listened to it a bit, then an error occured, but anyway,
I don't give any chance for anyone learning turkish to understand it. Turkish children won't understand it properly either.

I had told you before Bod that it was not a good idea to download anything from Burç fm. They are all "religious". They use a lot of of arabic thing, old turkish, and make difficult sentences with a lot of metaphor. And there was even full arabic prays in it!

I wonder when you will give up this fm. It won't help you.

It's ok I'm sorry about it, it seems useful, a lot of things to download unlike other stations, but they're not helpful

Yes - and one thing I liked about them is that alot of the material is spoken slowly and seems to be well announciated. But if the content is not helpful then the presentation is academic!
