Sweet dreams = Tatli rüya

or is it ruyalar?

Thank you all for helping me to learn. Turkish is such a beautiful language.

tatlı rüyalar is a literal translation of "sweet dreams". However I understand that Türks usually express this pleasantry using renkli rüyalar instead which lierally translates as "colourful dreams".

Yep,ruya is singular.But you are asking me how come it is plural in Good night,isnt it?Generally most of the greetings in Turkish are used in plural as Iyi günler,Iyi seyretmeler,Iyi yolculuklar,Iyi tatiller and so on..

When somebody is about to start watching something,for ex a movie,a theatre play,some performance etc.
