I miss you,my love.
My love,I went back to Istanbul. You know that my father is ill and I have to work here.
Most of all I want you to know that knowing you changed my life,I am so happy.I havent met love till this age ,thank you so much ,my love. The days that we spent together were like a dream,I am thinking of you every day.Every day I am trying to learng English, you gave me a great inspiration, you brought sense to my life. But both of us are mature people,we need time.I want you to know me better.I wish all the people in the world spoke one language. We have so many things to talk about. My love,I love you so much.

If you feel that your sending messages to each other will last for a long time, I can translate them regularly and would in return want you a book.

Anyway, here is:

"I miss you, my love. Sweetie, I came back to Istanbul. You know my father is ill. I have to work here. First of all I would like you to know that having met you changed my life. I am so happy. I realized that so far I haven't known love. Thank you so much my love. The days I spent with you together were like a dream to me. Each day I think of you, each day I am studying to learn english. You increadibly inspired me, you made my life meaningful. But we both are mature people and need time. I would like you to know me more. If only one language were spoken in the world... We have such a lot things to tell each other... My only one, I love you much..."

Wow that's so sweet

You can start in the basic-learning section of this website to teach yourself the basics of the language. In » this thread « I've posted the order in which I adviced someoen to start studying Turkish. Maybe you can take a look at it and do that for yourself too.

I'm a learner too and this website has been really helpful to me, as all the Turkish people here in the forums, are able to answer questions about grammar you don't understand, or to correct sentences you tried for yourself.

As for the translation of emails..you can post them in this forum and people will do it for free..(as long as they are not too personal and you dont wanna show them in public)
Here in the learn section you can find the basics of Turkish, its very useful..why dont you start from here?I dont know about the textbooks and grammarbooks in US,if you have any questions ask people here, everybody is very opened towards you
good luck!

Yapma Deryaaa! Wanting just a book in return means making the translations nearly "for free of charge"!

I cant get your point, where in my post i mentioned about wanting a book in return?!I just said that I ve no idea about their textbooks ,if it was about BG i would recommend her some very good ones.Of course translations here should be free of charge, not to mention that this is not a translating site at all.

Thank you so much for translating Omer's message. I couldn't understand from our phone converstations why he went so quickly from Fethiye to Istanbul and now I do.

It is so frustrating not knowing Turkish.

I am beginning by making flashcards and following the links you recommend. I am very appreciative. I love him so!

Sincerely,
Christine

It will be some time before I learn Turkish and Omer English....

Does anyone have any recommendations for affordable translations (about 3 -5 emails some Turkish some English that need translating) a week?

I would feel badly posting that many on this wonderful site.]

Thank you again,
Christine
