We want to travel here next time we go to TR. The place fascinates me! Has anyone got any suggestions of a nice hotel?

We want to drive there not through a company! So will be booking independantly!

Thankyou in advance!!!

Hi,,

I can't recommend a good hotel, but I can tell you that Efes is sooo beautiful. I've been to Rome and Athens too, but this almost beat Athens..maybe it even did!

If you just drive in the area around, I'm sure there are loads of hotels that you can just book in at the day itself. The hotels you might find on the internet close to Efes are probably more expensive than if you just drive and pick something like a family-hostel.. which also gives nice contact with the people.

If you're in Efes, I advice you take a day-trip to şirince.. it's a BEAUTIFUL wine village and the distance is do-able for a day trip.. you could even spend just one night there, as you ofcourse have to taste the delicious wines
