i fly today in 3 hours to icmeler . i bought my boyfriend a mobile phone . he told me i must register it when i arrive at the airport , or it would be usless in a few smonths .

does anyone know how , where or what i have to do and what papers i need

Hi. Where did you buy the phone ? Did you bring it from your own country?

If you are bringing it from your cpuntry, you have to register it in the airport.

You have to see customs officer and you have to get some papers from him/her.

And maybe u can pay customs, duty.

If you have other questions pls ask...

I took my friend an old phone of mine. I did not imform anyone and when i gave it to him it just worked.That was in 2005 and he is still using it

i left my phone with my boy friend in febuary and he was using it up till july then the company turned it of

cant u just give him one of those phones that are unlocked and work abroad cant remember what u call them i know they are pay as u go phones me and my mum went to turkey and her phone is pay and go and hers worked there mine was contract and it didnt work
